About GRID

The backbone of RDC is our proprietary GRID™ database, the largest screened public-source database on risk in the world.  Most compliance vendors offer about 500,000 records, or may present unscreened information.  RDC holds over 9 million, event-coded, quality-controlled, manually screened risk-relevant records -- thousands of new records enter the database every day. RDC uses state-of-the-art name matching software and further refines it to meet the company's exacting standards.

Scale is not the most compelling reason clients choose RDC, however. Our customers can specify up to 43 risk-relevant codes — such as money laundering, terrorism, fraud, narcotics trafficking, organized crime, embargoes and sanctions, PEPs, and regulatory watchlists — to zoom in on only those criteria and events pertinent to their interests and business. By applying these risk codes to RDC's extensive database, clients get the best of both worlds: quantity and quality.
